Global Girls

Who are we?

Global Girls is a youth performing arts organization giving girls 8-18 tools to craft and present their own stories.  The result is socially conscious, youth driven theatre that gives voice to girls’ issues and concerns.  Incorporated in 2000, we began working with eight girls and now service between 500 and 600 annually.

What do we do?

In addition to dancing, singing and acting, the girls learn about healthy lifestyles, participatory evaluation research, peer mentoring and social change.  They have fun, develop friendships with other girls in a safe space and learn about themselves as unique individuals and as citizens of the world.

How can you get involved?

• Visit another city, state or country with us.
